Welcome to the Department of Digital History Education of the Center for Digital Geographical Education in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
The Department aspires to become an agent of scientific direction of teachers in Digital History, through the creation of educative programs, the development of digital educational material and research in the field of Digital History and Digital Humanities.
Educational material on the following areas of interest will gradually be added in the website:
The connection of history with geography through digital educational applications,
The use of ICT in history education and
The use of cinema in teaching history in primary and secondary schools.
As of September 2019, the Department is a member of the International Network Popular Uses of the Past (POPUP).
